Antonia’s at the Beach

OK, this place absolutely get’s it’s whole own post.  It was absolutely FANTASTIC!  Revere Beach was really pretty, but it was already dusk when we got there, and overcast/drizzly, so we didn’t really get to do our full plan of wandering along the beach, but Antonia’s MORE than made up for that.  Our waiter, John, was awesome…all the way down to his authentic accent.  Then there was the seafood….oh the seafood!  I mean the sea was across the freaking street!  We started off with some calamari, then came the clam chowder.  We all though we’d died and gone to heaven.  Then the entreés came, and they were just as delicious.  We decided to come up with a rating scale for places we see this trip.  We decided to call it the Storm scale….Antonia’s gets 5 Sturm Storms for sure!

After dinner, we did walk across the street to the beach.  It was dark, but we still had a nice time…just *hearing* the crash of the waves onto the sand was such a departure from our typical sound palette.  Of course, there were some “familiar” sounds…
